CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
All participants will receive Certificates of Attendance. Professionals may submit their participation certificates to licensing boards for possible approval.
Participants may earn 0.5 college credit for Topics & Issues in Social Sciences (SOC 2198) through Lincoln Trail College. There are no tuition or fees for the credit.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Anna Hickey, PhD,
is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at SIU Medicine specializing in Pediatric Psychology.
Dr. Hickey provides psychological evaluations and psychosocial/behavioral treatment to children and adolescents with a range of presenting concerns, including Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Behavior Disorders, Developmental Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities.
Dr. Hickey is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and is licensed by the Illinois State Board of Education as a School Psychologist.
The registration fee covers the cost of light Hors D'oeuvres. Please submit by April 6th.
Participants canceling their registration at least 72 in advance will be entitled to a refund, less an administrative cost.
No refund or credit will be given for cancellations of less than 72 hours before the workshop or for notification of non-attendance after the workshop.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Ashley Whittington-Barnish, BCBA-Dm NCSP,
is an Assistant Professor and Department Chari of the Applied Behavior Analysis Department in Chicago.
Dr. Whittington-Barnish is a licensed clinical psychologist, certified school psychologist, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral level (BCBS-D). She has worked in school, clinic, and in-home settings with children of all ages specializing in working with children with autism and their families. Through those experiences and those as a BCBA consultant, she has worked with school systems as both an internal and external team member. Her current research interests include social skills training, using technology and other efficient practices to teach academic skills, school-based interventions, and parent training.
Dr. Whittington-Barnish serves as a Board Member for Illinois Association for Behavior Analysis (IL-ABA) and a member of Myra Speakers Bureau (Chicago's all-female speaker's bureau).
